RSVP is a social app, designed to encourage in person encounters. Currently in TestFlight.
Users can create an account, uploading a profile photo, their instagram handle, and current city. Users are prompted to use Apple signin, but can manually signin with username and password.
Once accepted, the user can create events including the name, date, description, and location using Google’s API to allow easy opening in Google Maps.
Users can then RSVP to other people’s events and see the guest list, opening a view of users profiles to get a better understanding of who is attending.
Next up
Map View: So users can see upcoming events in their neighborhood.
Friend Requests: Part of the fun of this app is to meet new people, but it’s nice to have the option for private events, only visible to your friends.
